Cat Tea

Since the weather outside has turned a bit frosty, I'm spending the nights inside. Every morning my Mistress comes here and opens these fat jars with labels on them when she makes a cup of tea. So I decided to investigate.

This looks like a nice spot for a cozy nap as well.

No dirty dishes in the way so I can spread out my fat body and get comfortable here by the sink.

Ah yes, this is the life for a cat even if the surface is a bit hard.

Are you still here? I'd like some privacy please.

Just look at this china cup with a flower on it. Purrfect for a cup of tea or even a cat toy. I think I'll check it out.

Hmm, so many kinds of tea to choose from. It's hard to make up my mind which one I'll try first.

Now this is what I call a nice cup of cat tea!

Jungle Cat

I'm spending my summer out in the overgrown enclosed garden behind the house.

It is a perfect place for a cat jungle.

Not to mention a safe place to snooze.

Did you say something?

I love spending time on this nice cat perch. Up here you can see all around.

Not to mention another nifty place for a cat nap.

Is that a birdie at the bird feeder that I see?

All kinds of interesting things are in this jungle..,

especially the bird box. I think there are baby birds inside.

I sometimes hear the sound of chirping.

Oh no! What is that big furry thing up there? A... lion...???

Whew! That was close. It's only Lady- a nice doggy that doesn't chase cats.

My New Cat Bed

For a couple of weeks my Mistress was away staying at the hospital with the Master. It got to be quite boring around this place being all by myself even if I did have plenty of cat food. So I decided to investigate around and discovered a nifty new cat bed.

What did you say? You want Me to move off of the upholstered foot stool?

Do you have any idea how much effort it takes to move my fat furry body?

And just when I have gotten myself all comfortable.

Sorry. No way! This is my cat bed now. The Master of the house will just have to find himself another foot stool. It's time for another cat snooze.

My Cat Garden

My crazy Mistress got this wild idea to use the dining room table as a greenhouse. The next thing I knew she had it all covered up with cups of dirt.

The best part is my new nifty scratching post that the boss put up for her.

Every time I turned around there are more cups of dirt in my way turning the dining room table into one big gigantic obstacle course.

Hmm, is that something moving down there?

I don't see how she expects me to walk through all those cups. It's not fair the way she keeps adding stuff.

Even walking around the edge of the table is a challenge.

I wonder what this green thing is. Reckon it would taste any good?

And here is another colored plant with pointy leaves crowding my space.

I still haven't found any catnip yet.

These crazy plants are trying to take over my scratching post.

This jungle is starting to get on my cat nerves.

Staying Warm By the Fire

Here I am right in front of the fire-
the best place to be on a cold winter day.

Trying to keep my fur all warm and cozy.

Sometimes I just toast my paws.

Did you want something? I'm busy here.

No, I am not being a fat lazy cat.

Then one day while I take a nice snooze..,

I wake up to discover that my space is crowded.
Really crowded.

What's going on here? I can't even stretch out.

Will somebody please move these huge stinky shoes?

Ah, that's better.

This is my own private territory with a nice wood scratching post close by.

Okay, okay! I give up.

Just give me enough space to get my fat furry self close to the stove.
